Who is the most famous Hobbit ever? Although you might be tempted to answer with “Bilbo Baggins,” since he is, in fact, the main character of a whole story called The Hobbit, we’d have to disagree. His relative Frodo might actually be the most famous person in all of Middle-earth, let alone the most famous hobbit! And just like Samwise Gamgee predicted, we love to hear the story of Frodo and the ring time and time again.

Possibly one of the most charming things about Frodo is that he doesn’t necessarily look like a hero. In fact, he’s almost always clothed in simple Shire garb, just like any other small Hobbit.
