Flying the Flag for Gryffindor House, Harry Potter’s Home at Hogwarts

According to founder Godric Gryffindor, Gryffindor House is to become a home for particularly bold and courageous wizarding students. Not only Harry Potter himself, but also his parents had already been elected to Gryffindor by the Sorting Hat. A golden lion is printed on the flag as a symbol of courage and strength.

The original licensed flag shows the Gryffindor coat of arms, a golden lion on a red background. The Gryffindor lettering can be read below the coat of arms. The crest is printed on black fleece fabric, which has a triangular cut-out at the bottom. At the top is a plastic rod with a cord for hanging.
