Hay There!

People sometimes underestimate scarecrows. They think that all scarecrows do is stand in the field and laze around. They don’t realize how hard a job it really is! Scarecrows always have to be vigilant to guard their crop from crows and other pesky birds. It’s a 24/7 job that takes immense concentration! And it’s even harder when you can’t really move your arms or legs, since you’re just stuffed with straw and have no muscles!

So, sure, maybe scarecrows aren’t really the smartest bunch. In fact, you could say they don’t have brains at all. But why would a scarecrow need to do anything like high level calculus or rocket science? Their job is to stand there and wave off crows (literally), and they do it really well! We say they deserve the highest praise, even if they can’t spell words like Constantinople. (If we’re honest, we had to look it up, too!)

It doesn’t take a genius level intellect to recognize that ourAdult’s Wizard of Oz Scarecrow Costume is a really cool costume indeed. The exclusive costume is 100 percent polyester knit and burlap fabrics. It includes a shirt with an attached rope belt, pants, a hood and a hat.

The shirt has raffia “straw” peeking through at various areas, while the pants also have “straw” pushing out at the cuffs, along with multi-colored appliqued patches. The pants also have an elastic waist for comfy wear. The hat includes “straw” bits around and fits snugly over the hood, which has an inner fabric lining for comfort.

It’s true that this costume doesn’t come with a brain, but we know where you can get one: You just have to go ask the Wizard! So grab some of your closest friends (maybe a lion or a tinman would come in handy…?) and follow the Yellow Brick Road for your next adventure!
