If you’re interested in the life of a sailor than you’d better be ready for adventure. Who knows what you’ll see when you’re on the seven seas. Well, those amazing sunsets and sunrises are a given since sailors are up at all hours, depending on what watch you’re responsible for. If you’re headed out to the seas for a couple weeks then you’d better hope you don’t see a red sky in the morning. . . cause you know, then you’d better take warning or however that saying goes.

It’s interesting how many rules to sailing the sea there are. First off, it’s a relief that we live in the time that we do until this millennium, women were considered bad luck on board. Lucky for most people these days, a tattoo is seen as good luck but, unfortunately for fruit enthusiasts, bananas are bad luck. Any sailor worth their salt (get it?) would also know to avoid killing that albatross that’s been hanging around, no matter how hungry you are or how many times you think that it says, “Aflac!”, or you’ll never see land again. Don’t get overwhelmed, you don’t have to become a sailor to dress in that classic, nautical fashion.
